Anna Lunoe (May 26) is an Australian producer, songwriter, DJ, and vocalist. She was born in Sydney, Australia. Lunoe has been composing songs on her acoustic instrument since she was young. Her first job in the music industry was hosting a dance program on Sydney's independent youth radio station FBi RADIO. A while later, she made history by becoming the first female mixer for the Ministry of Sound Australia. Aiming to advance her profession, Lunoe moved to Los Angeles in early 2012. Anna Lunoe & Friends, her début EP, featured Flume and Touch Sensitive and propelled Lunoe into the electronic dance music scene spotlight shortly after her arrival.
For four months, "Real Talk" topped the Beatport Indie Dance Ranking. Her song "I Met You," a duet with Flume, has amassed over 3 million hits on YouTube. Skrillex liked "Bass Drum Dealer (B.D.D.)" enough in 2014 to put it out on his Nest label. In addition, she and Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs dropped a new song together titled "Feels Like," which debuted on Zane Lowe's show. Lunoe's second EP, All Out, launched at No. 4 on the iTunes Dance Chart following a successful festival run and a two-month US tour with The Weeknd.
She dropped "Pusher" in early 2015, featuring Sleepy Tom. Lunoe followed up with "Stomper," a collaboration with Chris Lake. On June 18, 2016, Lunoe made history by becoming the first female DJ to headline the main stage at Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas. In April 2017, Lunoe posted on Instagram that she was expecting; that same weekend, she performed at the Coachella.
