Ann Wilson Information

Ann Dustin Wilson (June 19, 1950) was born in San Diego, California. She is a famous singer-songwriter best known as the main vocalist of the rock band Heart. Wilson's voice is that of a lyric soprano.

Since the early 1970s, Wilson has been a part of Heart, and her younger sister Nancy is also a fellow member. Dreamboat Annie (1976) and Little Queen (1977) produced leg-complex and complex-rock songs, "Magic Man," "Crazy on You," and "Barracuda," establishing Heart as the first hard rock band headed by women.

Heart released many more albums between 1976 and 2016, including their last, Love Over Fear. Throughout their career, Heart has amassed over 35 million album sales worldwide, 29 top 40 singles, and top 10 albums on the Billboard 200 chart in the 1980s, 1990s, 1970s, and 2010s.

Ann Wilson was ranked No. 78 on the "Greatest Heavy Metal Vocalists of All Time" by Hit Parader in 2006. Her band, Heart, got her into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2013.

"You don't own me" is the second single from Wilson's solo album Immoh, released on August 3, 2018. The ah was released on September 14, 2018, with ten songs dedicated to Wilson's inspirations and friends.
