Anjunabeats Information
Under the guise of Anjunabeats, Grant and Siljamäki released their debut 12" single in 2000, titled Volume One. Anjunabeats is the record company's name, although the artists behind it go by names like Free State and Dirt Devils. Above & Beyond was created in 2000 when Tony McGuinness, who had previously worked with them on a remix of the Chakra (trance duo) song "Home," decided to join them.
In addition to Anjunabeats and Anjunadeep, the trio established the sublabel Anjunadigital, which focuses on exclusive remixes and releases, and Hard On Recordings, which released hard trance and hard house from 2000 to 2004.
A production competition called "Beats In School" was announced by Anjunabeats and Beatport on October 3rd, 2017; the winner would receive a year-long mentoring with Anjunabeats artists. On January 10th, 2018, one of the twenty finalists, Canadian Joel Freck, was announced as the winner. Anjunabeats, a record label known for its trance and deep house, created a YouTube radio station in March 2018 that plays music from their catalog around the clock.
