Anees Mokhiber is a skilled American singer, rapper, and songwriter who goes by the stage name Anees. He was born on July 30, 1992, in Washington, D.C., and his musical journey began after he quit his job as a lawyer to follow his love for music. "Slip," his first song, got much attention after Justin Bieber posted about it on Instagram. This was his big break. The attention helped Anees get a lot of fans. His music is a mix of hip-hop, indie pop, and R&B. It has profound words and a unique sound that fans of Mac Miller and Jon Bellion will enjoy.
Anees's hit song, "Sun and Moon," was number one on the Billboard Philippines charts for six weeks in 2022. His first record, "Summer Camp," came out in May 2023 and quickly became a fan favorite. It has been streamed over 250 million times. Anees promoted the record with the "summer camp album tour," which sold out shows nationwide. He then went on the "winter camp tour," which took him to Europe.
In 2025, Anees will be on the road again with his "Homesick Tour," which begins in April and goes through July. The tour will stop in big towns across the U.S., and Anees's much-anticipated second album, "Homesick," will come out in April.
