Andrew Belle Information
Andrew Belle is an American singer and songwriter. He is currently based in Chicago, Illinois, but has previously resided in Nashville and Los Angeles. He's also a part of Ten Out of Tenn, a highly regarded songwriter collaborative. Shortly after graduating from college, Belle began performing in bars and tiny clubs surrounding Chicago, such as Schubas Tavern and SPACE. Belle released his debut EP, All Those Pretty Lights, in September 2008.
The Ladder, Belle's debut full-length album, was released in February 2010 and saw immediate success in TV/Film licensing. Grey's Anatomy, Castle, Pretty Little Liars, One Tree Hill, and The Vampire Diaries were among the American television shows that utilized his music regularly. He's shared the stage with The Milk Carton Kids, Joshua Radin, Brett Dennen, Leagues, Diane Birch, Mat Kearney, Ben Rector, and Allen Stone.
Belle created autobiographical songs for his second full-length album, Black Bear, with themes ranging from battling with God to repairing personal relationships. The album features ambitious, atmospheric tracks with James Blake, M83, Washed Out, and Beach House influences. Chad Copelin produced Black Bear in Norman, Oklahoma, and it was released in August 2013.
On August 25, 2017, Belle released his third full-length album, Dive Deep. It was recorded in Norman, OK, with producer Chad Copelin, similar to Black Bear. The album debuted at number 8 on the Billboard Heatseekers Albums chart. Nightshade, his fourth album, was released on August 20.
