Andrew Beam is an American country music artist. Beam grew up in North Carolina’s the Blue Ridge Mountains, surrounded by the culture that produced so many brilliant musicians, from Don Gibson to Ronnie Milsap, Charlie Daniels to Randy Travis, Chet Atkins to Eric Church. Something must be going on in the hills.
Beam learned about roots music from his father, a bluegrass preacher, during bluegrass festivals, church socials, and front porch get-togethers. Beam, a Clemson University alum and dedicated bowhunter, worked as a game warden for the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources when he met RCA Victor/Moonwatcher Records producer Joe Taylor through a mutual friend.
Today, Beam Beam has created a strong fan base in the Southeast and surrounded himself with a close group of dedicated friends and associates. He has also recruited an all-star band and is getting ready to release Selma by Sundown, his first full-length album, in April of 2021.
Notable singles of Beam include “Time to Be a Tiger,” “You Should See the Other Guy,” “Black and White,” “Three Sheets,” “Country Ain’t Dead,” “Semalee,” “The Beam in Me,” “Might as Well Dance,” and “Cajun Wind.”
