Anabel Englund Information
Anabel Englund is an American D.J. singer, songwriter, and record producer born in New York City. She started singing in public at 16 in a Christian youth group, and by the time Disney bought the US TV network ABC Family, she was writing songs for the network's many shows. In 2010 and 2011, she released two albums, including piano-driven ballads that she wrote and performed.
Hot Natured, a British-American electronic/house trio, used Englund in their 2013 album Different Sides of the Sun because of the success of the single, which also increased her visibility. She was featured on the songs "Emerald City," "Mercury Rising," and "Reverse Skydiving." While "Reverse Skydiving" peaked at #56 on the Official U.K. Singles Chart, Englund's contributions were also recognized in remixes of these songs.
In 2020, on December 11, Englund released his first full-length album, Messing with Magic. When it was released in April 2021, "Underwater" became Englund's third single to reach the top of U.S. dance radio and her second to top Billboard's Dance/Mix Show Airplay chart. She scored her fourth U.S. dance radio number one with "Waiting for You," featured on the deluxe edition of Messing with Magic, which was released on May 21, 2021.
