Amy Allen Information
Amy Allen is an American singer, songwriter, and record producer born and raised in Windham, Maine. Allen was profiled in Teen Vogue in 2015 following the release of two solo EPs and his participation in season 2 of The Voice. Before moving to New York for a year, Allen started her career by working on a series of solo projects before forming Amy & The Engine, a four-piece indie pop rock band. On February 14, 2015, the group released their debut single, "Last Forever." Their first EP, TandeMania, was made available on September 22, 2016.
In 2018, Allen collaborated with Selena Gomez on the song Back to You and Without Me, which peaked at number one on the Billboard Hot 100. Allen joined Warner Records in 2019 and anticipated that her first solo album would be published in 2020. In the same year, Allen worked with Harry Styles on his single Adore You, and they again worked together on Halsey's single Graveyard. On their 2019 EP, Hallucinations, the alternative rock band Pvris also worked with Allen.
Allen was highlighted in Forbes' 30 Under 30 in Music list in January 2020. On January 22, 2020, it was revealed that Gretchen Peters and Allen would appear at the yearly St. Jude Songwriters Showcase to benefit the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
