As told through Louise's memories, the true and moving story of country music legend Patsy Cline's friendship with Texas housewife Louise Seger will tug at your heartstrings and make you laugh and grin. Ted Swindley, the show's creator, was inspired by his relationship with the friend.
While Cline was singing at the Esquire Ballroom in Houston, Texas, Louise Seger was in the audience. Following the show, Seger accompanied Cline home, where they spent the night together. Before Cline's death, the two kept in touch via phone conversations and letters. The bulk of the text is derived from the correspondence between the two people for several years.
