AlunaGeorge Information
Aluna Francis (a singer-songwriter) and George Reid (a producer) make up the English electronic music duo AlunaGeorge, based in London. Francis and Reid first worked together in June 2009, when Reid remixed the song "Sweetheart" by Francis' band, My Toys Like Me. The digital download of AlunaGeorge's "You Know You Like It" was made available on April 20, 2012, while the vinyl release was made available on June 11, 2012. Their first commercial single, "Your Drums, Your Love," was released on September 10, 2012, and peaked at 50 on the UK Singles Chart.
As well as premiering the extended version of "Diver," AlunaGeorge revealed on BBC Radio 1 on January 3, 2013, that their debut album would be titled Body Music and released in June 2013. The album's track listing was revealed on June 4, 2013, and the pair announced a release date of July 29, 2013.
AlunaGeorge and Disclosure on "White Noise" collaboration reached the top 40 in February 2013. According to the UK's Official Singles Chart, the single peaked at #2. The group's first single, "Attracting Flies," was aired by Huw Stephens on BBC Radio 1 and later included on the group's self-titled debut album. On May 27, 2013, the pair played at Newcastle upon Tyne's Evolution Festival.
