Alex Harris, a singer, actor, and philanthropist was born on September 9th, the middle child of eight, in the sleepy town of Manchester, Georgia. Alex Harris's parents, James Harris, a minister at a local church, and Carolyn Harris, a schoolteacher, did not indicate that their son would develop musical talent. Despite the scarcity of performance opportunities, young Harris eagerly seized each one he could find to satisfy his craving for rhythm.
Alex attended LaGrange College after finishing high school and eventually received a BA in Human Services and Psychology. He earned a Master of Theology and Social Work from Boston University, a Master of Education in Adolescent Counseling from Harvard University, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Organizational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University in Florida.
At seven, he began performing all over the southeast with his siblings. Since he was seven years old, when he first started creating art, until today, his audience has grown alongside his abilities. Alex Harris' global fan base continues to swell due to the attention his electrifying and soulful live shows attract.
