AL1CE Information
AL1CE is a multimedia performing arts rock group that is famous for fusing surrealist art, video, dance, electronica, and world music into a bright mixture of sound and vision. This rock band was founded as a result of a collaboration between Gordon Bash, Tash Cox, and Scott Landes. These three were members of Mankind is Obsolete and shared the same influences, including Pink Floyd, Tool, Queen, and a few more.
AL1CE birth is defined as an excursion to Joshua Tree, which is a desert park dotted by silhouettes of cacti along with rugged terrain, which is combined with the foundation that brought ignitions and sparks to their imaginations. Before the trio released their debut album, they were the only three who carried out collaborations. After the release of the debut album, AL1CE was joined by Sasha Travis and Steve Kefalas; hence, the trio changed into a group. Sasha owned a filmmaking background, so she began working as the main director for all the music videos.
“The Thirteenth Hour” was a compilation of the entire artwork done by AL1CE in 2017 and 2018. The music included in this album featured the lives of the band members through this passage of time, exhibiting their sides of exploring themes of loss, longing, mortality, and in the end, empowerment.
AL1CE has traveled all across the globe as part of The Alice Project collective. The group also took part in music exchange programs in Algeria and Uzbekistan and has also performed as one of the leading musical acts for the Anime Expo. This event was attended by over 100,000 anime fans every year.
