Adam Golka Information
Adam Golka, a Polish-American pianist, has performed publicly regularly since he was sixteen and won the 2nd China Shanghai International Piano Competition. In addition to the Max I. Allen Classical Fellowship Award, he has also been honored with the Gilmore Young Artist Award from the American Pianists Association.
Beginning on 22/23, pianist Adam Golka will perform recitals for Philip Lorenz International Keyboard Concerts and Mesa Arts Center with a program that bridges his two long-term repertoire interests: Beethoven Sonatas, and an amalgam of distinguished guests, from astrophysicists to Alfred Brendel).
With the Tallahassee Symphony Orchestra and the Asheville Symphony Orchestra, Golka will perform Fazil Say's "Silk Road" Concerto (1994) and de Falla's "Nights in the Garden of Spain" in October 2022. Daniel Meyer and the Erie Philharmonic will also perform Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 1 this season.
