Abigail "Abi" Carter (July 31, 2002) is an American musician and singer. To top it all off, she's the first female winner in four years. She hails from Indio, California, and earned a Marriage and Family Therapy degree from California State University, San Bernardino, Palm Desert campus. Before switching to homeschooling, she attended Palm Desert, California's George Washington Charter School for the first three grades.
During her maiden homecoming after her victory, Carter returned to the Acrisure Arena in Coachella Valley on May 31, 2024, to perform "The Star-Spangled Banner" and drop the ceremonial first puck before a hockey game between the Coachella Valley Firebirds and the Milwaukee Admirals.
She made her debut full-length concert announcement—"No Amount of Dark"—on June 20 during the first intermission of the American Hockey League Calder Cup playoffs for the Coachella Valley Firebirds, her hometown team. The event will take place on July 27 at Acrisure Arena. Abi has many new, unique stuff coming up at the show. At the 2024 Summer Olympics, she performed the national anthem for the United States gymnastics team on June 27.
