The concert venue first opened for the local public with a performance by famous DJ Afrojack in January 2012. The Marquis Park City is said to be one of the largest music venues in the city. It is under the ownership of Kathryn Burns and Kevin Burns. It has a current seating capacity of 800. The venue serves as a regular host to the annual Sundance Film Festival. The concert space underwent a major renovation in 2011.
