George Mason Center For The Arts is a performing arts center located on the Fairfax campus of George Mason University. After a few years of construction, the venue opened for the public on October 6, 1990. Award-winning composer Marvin Hamlisch hosted the first show. He served the opening show with a star-studded concert featuring Jean-Pierre Rampal, Roberta Peters, and Robert Klein.
George Mason Center For The Arts is known as a premier destination for the arts in Northern Virginia.
