Family Arena Tickets Information
The Family Arena is an arena located in St. Charles, Missouri. The arena is owned and operated by St. Charles County Public Arena Authority. Construction broke ground on April 5, 1998, and officially opened for the public on October 3, 1999. The total construction cost was $27 million with the architecture design by Hastings & Chivetta Architects. The Family Arena has a seating capacity of 9,643 for Hockey, 9,755 for Football, 10,467 for Basketball, 6,339 for half-house concerts, and 11,522 for end-stage concerts.
The Family Arena hosts sporting events, concerts, circuses, and ice shows and serves as host to trade shows. The arena serves as a home field to the Major Arena Soccer League’s St. Louis Ambush. It hosted “Recommitment to Ethics Day” for Boeing Integrated Defense Systems in 2005 and 2006 for Greater St. Louis. Some of the past tenants who played the arena include Missouri River Otters (UHL) (1999–2006), St. Louis Swarm (IBL) (1999–2001), RiverCity Rage (NIFL/UIF/IFL) (2005; 2007–2009), St. Louis Steamers (WISL/MISL II) (2000–2001; 2003–2004), and St. Charles Chill (CHL) (2013–2014).
The venue has been used for nationally televised professional wrestling events, including the Extreme Championship Wrestling’s Wrestlepalooza 2000 event, Impact Wrestling’s Lockdown pay-per-view, and Ring of Honor’s Gateway to Honor.
