The Sklar Brothers Information
Sklar Brothers (January 12, 1972) is an American identical twin brother actor and comedian duo. Both Randy and Jason came from Jewish families in the St. Louis suburbs. They enrolled at Michigan University and became members of Alpha Epsilon Pi. They decided throughout their time in school to pursue a profession in comedy. They relocated to New York in 1994 and honed their act at various improv and stand-up venues. Jason and Randy appeared and co-wrote the MTV sitcom/sketch/stand-up program Apt 2F that aired in the summer of 1997. This was their first time working on television. It was canceled after just one season.
They frequently step in for Jim Rome as co-hosts on his nationally syndicated radio show on CBS Radio (previously Premiere Radio). They were regular contributors as sports correspondents on The Madeleine Brand Show on KPCC, the southern California branch of National Public Radio. In 2011, KPCC on National Public Radio broadcast their two Sklar Talk Sports Pilots.
Never Not Funny and World Football Daily are two podcasts where you can regularly hear the Sklars. They have also been featured on WTF with Marc Maron, You Made It Weird, Professor Blastoff, AST Radio, Jordan, Jesse GO!, and Battleship Pretension. In Season 3, Episode 3 of the web comedy The Legend of Neil, released in August of 2010, two sculptures named 'Armos' made a cameo appearance as football fans.
