On RuPaul's Drag Race Season 7, Trixie and Katya crossed paths as competitors. They started performing together in December 2015 despite having had great individual careers.
They set off on their first tour in 2021 after releasing a book titled Trixie and Katya's Guide to Modern Womanhood in 2020. The book was the number two bestseller in The New York Times when it first came out. Trixie and Katya LIVE was the name of the show. Working Girls: Their second book, Trixie and Katya's Guide to Professional Womanhood, was published in 2022.
