Rosalie Vaillancourt (November 13, 1992) is a singer, comedian, and actress from Saint-Hyacinthe, Quebec. She attended an elementary school in her hometown and learned the basics of theater and basketball. During her time in CEGEP, Vaillancourt needed to choose one passion; sports or the stage. She opted for theater and ignored all scholarship offers coming from American universities. Soon Vaillancourt shifted her interest towards comedy and found a new passion.
Rosalie Vaillancourt received admission to the National School of Humor. She earned the headliner position in the 2015 edition of Zoofest’s New Girls show after completing her course. The next year, Vaillancourt presented her first solo show entitled Rosalie Vaillancourt: The Musical, a self-produced one. Her career took a new turn when Vaillancourt released her web-series, Rosalie. It comprises seven episodes loaded with tips for viewers to get rid of their spouse.
In 2017, Vaillancourt launched another web-series named Before Being Dead. She started on a television on CTRL show at MusiquePlus and can be seen in Conseils de Famille in Télé-Québec. Some of her other notable TV appearances include 2016 The New Show, 2016 ComediHa! Comedy Club, 2016 Papa (On the web and TV): The paintball girl, 2019: The Killing: Slingshot, and 2019: The Killing: Slingshot. Rosalie Vaillancourt won the Audience Prize and the Jury Prize 2017 for the Emerging Comedy Festival of the Abitibi-Témiscamingue Festival.
