Michael Yo is an American stand-up comedian, television host, and actor. He is best known for co-hosting The Insider on CBS. Currently, Yo is hosting Yo Show on Yahoo! TV. He has appeared regularly on the comedy panel of Chelsea Lately and as a guest host on CBS’ The Talk. As a teenager, Yo played football for the University of Arkansas, and he planned to pursue a football career. However, his career was cut short due to many unfavorable circumstances.
On November 27, 2018, Yo’s stand-up special entitled “Blasian” was released. He earned some notable film credits, including Bling Ring of Sofia Coppola, The Cookout 2, and Losing Control. Yo has worked for E! News as a correspondent, Extra, and The Daily 10. Yo has coached Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian as radio DJs for their show called Kourtney & Khloe Take Miami on E!.
Michael Yo announced in November 2018 that his family comedy is in development at Fox. He further added he would star, co-write, and produce it. Yo has appeared on The Joe Rogan Experience on April 9, 2019, February 27, 2020, and May 12, 2020. He has also appeared on America Got Talent in season 15.
