Melissa Anne Villasenor (October 9, 1987) is an American stand-up comedian, actress, singer, visual artist, and impressionist. She was born in Whittier, California, and went to the Catholic Ramona Convent Secondary School in Alhambra, California. She began performing stand-up at fifteen at the Laugh Factory Comedy Camp in Hollywood, California. She was also the semi-finalist in America’s Got Talent during its sixth season.
In 2010, Villasenor was selected for the New Faces lineup in the Just For Laughs Montreal Comedy Festival. She has performed as a voice-over artist for animated shows such as TripTank, Family Guy, and Adventure Time. She has appeared in the second season of “Crashing,” on HBO. In October 2019, Villasenor released her debut album as a visual artist, entitled “Dreamer.”
Villasenor helped Rob Cantor in creating his viral “29 Celebrity Impressions.” On October 1, 2016, Villasenor was introduced as a featured player in SNL, where she performed alongside Alex Moffat and Mikey Day. She made her debut in the Family Feud: Celebrity Edition sketch with an impression of Sarah Silverman.
Villasenor has done many notable films such as The 41-Year-Old Virgin Who Knocked Up Sarah Marshall and Felt Superbad About It (2010), Laid In America (2016), Ralph Breaks the Internet (2018), Toy Story 4 (2019), and Hubie Halloween (2020). Her television appearances include Pickle and Peanut (2015), First Impressions (2016), Saturday Night Live(2016-present), and many more.
