Ladies Of Laughter (LOL) is a platform that provides funny women the opportunity to showcase their unique styles of humor in front of a broad audience. The mission behind LOL is to encourage and promote new and professional comedians coming from any walk of life to share their humorous talent with audiences. It also helps jumpstart their newbie careers. In 2012, the show went on a national Funny and Fabulous Tour that visited legendary theaters across America, such as Caesars and even Madison Square Garden, carrying some of the most exceptional talents from the national competition.
Some of the past contestants of Ladies Of Laughter include Tammy Pescatelli, Melissa Rauch (“Big Bang Theory”), Amy Schumer, and many more. The winner of the LOL receives some major publicity, as well as cash prizes and paid bookings in night clubs, theaters, special events, at colleges and casinos.
Ladies Of Laughter began as an annual videotape comedy competition over 20 years ago in New York. The idea behind the competition was to honor a fellow-women in comedy, which has helped so many women get their start.
