The Miami Hispanic Ballet Company was founded in 1993 as a non-for-profit dance organization. The ballet company is dedicated to identifying and promoting professional dancers in Miami-Dade County of Hispanic descent. Since its inception, Miami Hispanic Ballet has been enjoying the role of producer and presenter responsible for bringing major gala performances of proven artistic excellence. The company leads to the creation of the Annual International Ballet Festival of Miami, which is recognized as one of the most successful festivals in the US.
International Ballet Festival of Miami is one of a kind in Florida. It gives the residents and visitors the unique opportunity to witness a wide range of local, national, and international artists of significant exceptional merit. The festival is known to represent the most ambitious ballet project that has ever been conceived in South Florida.

The International Ballet Festival takes place every year in Miami, beginning from the last week of August and going through mid-September. The festival brings spectacular performances by more than 100 Principal Dancers representing more than 20 ballet companies. This is also a dance film series, book presentations, and art exhibits inspired by the dance, workshops, and masterclasses.
