Antoni Porowski is a Canadian actor, model, chef, and television personality born in Montreal, Quebec. He grew up speaking French, English, and Polish. When Porowski was just twelve, he, along with his parents, moved to Glade Springs, West Virginia. He received his early education there, and for higher education, he returned to Montreal, where Porowski attended Marianopolis College. Porowski later graduated from Concordia University and received his bachelor’s degree in Creative Arts. After graduation, he moved to New York City to study acting.
After moving to New York City, Porowski began auditioning for various acting roles. He landed roles in many movies such as Elliot Loves (2012), Daddy’s Boy (2016), and The Pretenders (2018). He also appeared as a lead officer in a 2014 episode of The Blacklist, a TV series. It was announced in December 2017 that Porowski is going to play the role of food and wine expert in Queer Eye, a Netflix revival series which aired in February 2018. The series has gone on to be a great success.
Porowski signed a deal with Houghton Mifflin Harcourt for his very first cookbook that was released in September 2019. He also announced the opening of The Village Den in June 2018, a fast-casual restaurant in the West Village of New York City. He has appeared in several notable films so far, including The Diary (2008), The Apartment (2011), Withdrawal (2013), To My Father (2015), Horror Time (2018), and Blood Surf (2019).
