Amanda Seales (July 1, 1981) is formerly known by the stage name “Amanda Diva.” She is an American comedian, DJ, actress, author, recording artist, and television personality. Amanda was born in Inglewood, California. In 1989, she moved to Orlando, Florida. She attended Dr. Phillips High School and got her graduation degree from SUNY-Purchase. Seales acquired her master’s degree in African-American Studies. She did her masters in Hip Hop from Columbia University.
Seales got a minor role in the movie “Cop and a Half” in 1993. It was her first role ever in any kind of film. She also appeared on Def Poetry Jam by Russel Simmons in 2002. She has been featured in a recurring role on the HBO series called “Insecure” as Tiffany DuBois. Seales worked on the Nickelodeon sitcom My Brother and Me in 1994. She appeared as Deonne Wilburn and began hosting her show in 2016 called “Greatest Ever” on truTV. Seales hosts a weekly podcast named “Small Doses.”
Seales has also performed her duties as an activist. In 2010, she collaborated with “Truth.” The primary purpose of becoming a part of this team was to initiate an anti-smoking campaign. In 2009, Seales appeared in a video-song “Neon” that was directed by Lyn-don McCray.
Seales has released multiple extended plays throughout her career. Some popular EPs are “Life Experience” released on December 18, 2007, self-released, another self-released album “Spandex, Rhymes & Soul” on March 3, 2009; and “Madame Monochrome” released on April 27, 2011, was also a self-released album.
