Alice in Wonderland Jr. is a musical act that is adapted by the book written by David Simpatico. Bryan Louiselle makes the music adaptation and arrangement; however, the actual music and lyrics are by Sammy Fain and Bob Hilliard, Allie Wrubel and Ray Gilbert, Oliver Wallace and Cy Coban, Mack David, Al Hoffman, and Jerry Livingston. The production is based on the Disney film “Alice in Wonderland,” from 1951 as well as the two novels, “Through the Looking Glass” and “The Adventures of Alice in Wonderland,” written by Lewis Carroll.
Alice in Wonderland Jr. has been adapted for young performers. The show runs for 60-80 minutes, and the music is transposed into keys appropriate for young voices. The story revolves around Alice, who sees a White Rabbit hurrying by, on a perfect summer day in the park. She becomes curious about the rabbit and follows him into a dark tunnel. Thus the adventure begins.
