ToyotaCare 250 Information
At Richmond Raceway, there is a NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race called the Worldwide Express 250 for Carrier Appreciation. Before its removal from the calendar in 2006, the race was first staged from 1995 through 2005. 2020, 14 years after the initial event, saw its return to the Truck Series program. It was 200 laps during the event's initial appearance on the Truck Series schedule. The distance was 250 laps when it came again in 2020.
In 2020, NASCAR replaced the Martinsville Speedway spring Truck Series race with a race at Richmond Raceway. This adjustment to the schedule was made in exchange for Martinsville, which would now host one Truck Series race and one Xfinity Series race instead of the previous two Truck Series races and zero Xfinity Series races. As a result, the fall race at Martinsville would replace the Xfinity Series' spring event in Richmond.
