St. Louis BattleHawks Information
The St. Louis Battlehawks play American football at the professional level and are headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri. As an original member of the XFL Conference, the Battlehawks now play in the UFL. Their namesake company, Alpha Entertainment, was started by Vince McMahon. Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's Alpha Acquico and Fox Corporation run the show now.
The Battlehawks call The Dome at America's Center their home playing field for their home games. In the 2024 season, the Battlehawks had the third-best win percentage among UFL clubs, with a regular season record of 10-5 (.667).
A St. Louis XFL franchise's comeback and Anthony Becht's employment were announced on July 24, 2022. With minor logo tweaks, the BattleHawks made a triumphant comeback to the XFL on October 31, 2022. In 2023, the Battlehawks and the Seattle Sea Dragons ended the regular season with a 7-3 record, which was good enough for second place in their division.
The XFL applied to trademark the term "United Football League" in October 2023. Regulatory clearance for the merger had been granted, and preparations were being made for a "combined season" to start on March 30, 2024, according to an Instagram post by Garcia on November 30, 2023. The official announcement of the merger took place on December 31, 2023.
