Seattle Reign FC Information
Seattle Reign FC is a professional women's soccer club in Seattle, Washington. It joined the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) in 2012 as one of eight original teams and is still a member today. Since June 2024, ownership of the Reign has been shared between the Seattle Sounders FC soccer team and the private equity firm Carlyle Group.
From 2020 through 2023, the team competed as OL Reign under OL Groupe, the French conglomerate that owns Olympique Lyonnais and Olympique Lyonnais Féminin. The squad is coached by Laura Harvey, who won the NWSL Shield thrice between 2014 and 2015 and again in 2022.
Since 2022, Lumen Field has been Seattle Reign FC's home field. The team played its home games prior to its time at Tukwila's Starfire Sports Complex (2013), Memorial Stadium (2014), and Tacoma's Cheney Stadium (2019–2021).
