Indoor Auto Racing Information
The Grand Final of Indoor Auto Racing East Coast racers gets together for Fueled by VP Racing. The drivers compete in three different categories: TQ Midgets, Slingshots, and Champ Carts. On the hard concrete floor, racers go around in circles inside the arena. In each round, racers compete for points that count towards the series title. More points are guaranteed with higher finishes. Race heat events and qualifying time trials both offer points. Points are awarded to the drivers.
At night's conclusion, 24 cars in each class compete in the Main Event. The time trials make use of transponders. To compete in the night program, participants must have top times. Heat Race events kick off the nighttime schedule. The main event is reserved for the heat race qualifiers. People who didn't make the main draw get one final chance in the B-Main. When a racer fails to meet the qualifying standards for the Main Event, they are eliminated from the evening's competition and do not earn any points towards the Championship Series.
Each driver or team gets their unique race number. When two drivers have the same number, it can be modified by adding a letter. With a maximum speed of only 60 mph, the Slingshot and Champ Kart are more suited to younger, less experienced drivers. A 750cc motorbike engine on 112 octane racing fuel powers the TQ Midget.
