Florida A&M Rattlers Football Information
One of the shining stars in historically black colleges and universities (HBCU) athletics is the Florida A&M University (FAMU) Rattlers football team. The Rattlers are based in Tallahassee, Florida, compete in the NCAA Division I FCS, and are members of the SWAC, having joined the conference in 2021 — having previously been a member of the MEAC for many years.
FAMU has a rich history in football, with many black college national championship runs and a history of producing NFL player after NFL player. Bragg Memorial Stadium, the team's home, is renowned for its enthusiastic game-day attitude and high community backing.
