A coalition of demolition derby promoters, drivers, and part suppliers formed the first professional demolition derby organization in 2024. Its name is D.E.M.O., which stands for Demolition Entertainment Motorsports Organization. Bristol Motor Speedway (Bristol, TN) will host the inaugural D.E.M.O.-sanctioned event in October 2024. A four-day "team" type event with a prize pool of more than $400,000 will be featured at this event.
