The Hall of Fame Classic Powered by ShotTracker is an annual American season-opening college basketball tournament founded in 2001. Currently, the tournament takes place in mid-November. There are twelve teams invited to the tournament, where each team represents a different athletic conference. Two rounds are played initially at regional sites on two different days. Then there is a championship round a week after the initial round. Until 2007, the tournament was held at Municipal Auditorium except in 2001 when it took place at Kemper Arena. The Hall of Fame Classic is organized by the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) and produced by Blue Ridge Sports & Entertainment, Inc.

List of champion teams who have won the Hall of Fame Classic in the last two decades includes Arkansas (2021), TCU (2020), Butler (2019), Texas Tech (2018), Baylor (2017), Kansas (2016), North Carolina (2015), Maryland (2014), Wichita State (2013), Kansas (2012), Missouri (2011), Duke (2010), Texas (2009), Syracuse (2008), UCLA (2007), Marquette (2006), Texas (2005), Creighton (2004), South Carolina (2003), Creighton (2002), and Missouri (2001). In the last two decades, some of the runner teams include Cincinnati, Liberty. Stanford, Nebraska, Georgia, Kansas State, Iowa, BYU, St. Louis, Cal, Pittsburgh, and Michigan State.
