All American Classic Information
Teams like Ohio State, Army, Pittsburgh, and Campbell University get their baseball seasons started with a bang at the All-American Classic. Nobody has more respect or credibility than the Ohio State Buckeyes regarding college athletics. One of the most legendary college sports teams is the Army Black Knights, representing the United States Military College at West Point.
Like Ohio State, the University of Pittsburgh's baseball team, the Panthers, is widely regarded as among the best in the nation. Despite its relatively modest size, the Campbell University Camels baseball team has been to the Big South Conference Championship multiple times and has had several players selected in the MLB Draft.
Two games will be played each day of this round-robin tournament, and each team will face each other once. Segra Stadium, in Fayetteville, North Carolina, is the site of the Classic. The stadium's center field fence is 400 feet long, with the left and right field lines measuring 319 and 330 feet, respectively. Because of this, Segra Stadium is an excellent place for hitters, and home runs are common.
