AHRMA is an abbreviation of the American Historic Racing Motorcycle Association. It is a non-profit organization dedicated to competing, restoring, and preserving historic motorcycles. The association has more than 3000 members at the moment. It is also the leading vintage racing group operating in North America and one of the largest in the world. The enthusiastic membership of AHRMA reflects the strong interest of the people of the United States in classic bikes.
AHRMA offers vintage regional and national road racing, cross country competitions, observed trials, and dirt track. The national championship by AHRMA includes 15 rounds at least with each competition discipline. AHRMA Nationals also occur at some of the most historic and finest venues of the United States, such as Barber Motorsports Park, New Jersey Motorsports Park, Sonoma Raceway, Willow Springs, and Road America.
AHRMA finds its roots in the late 1970s in the northeast. They began emerging all around the country in the early 1980s. The association was originally formed as a privately-held business corporation. The national sponsors for AHRMA events include Rockauto, Bridgestone, Redwood Engineering, Hagerty Motorcycle, 4SR, Luke’s Racecraft, and a lot more sponsors partner up with AHRMA for their events.
