Zion y Lennox Information
Zion & Lennox is a reggaeton genre music duo from Carolina, Puerto Rico. The band consists of Gabriel Pizarro, aka Lennox, and Felix Ortiz, aka Zion. They both met in 1992 and lived in the same neighborhood. Their interests were the same in the reggaeton genre, specifically, which helped them become a good duo in the future. They sang underground, but soon the two got their first career opportunity in 2003. They were offered a compilation album named “Desafio” by Noriega along with producers of Luny Tunes.
Zion& Lennox released their debut solo album called “Motivando a la Yal,” and with this album, their popularity gained increases as reggaeton had become a worldwide phenomenon. The band has also appeared in some major reggaeton genre-based albums such as Luny Tunes Mas Flow (2003), Blin Blin Vol. 1 (2003-2004), Mas Flow 2 (2005), Cazadores, Primera Busqueda (2005), and Contra la Corriente (2004). It took Zion & Lennox three years in building up a great fan base for the duo, after which they released their debut full-length record.
On November 2, 2010, Zion & Lennox released their second studio album by the name; Los VerdaDeros. After this album, they released Motivan2 (Motivando a la Yal 2) in 2016 and “La Z y la L” (that has to be released). Their mixtapes include Pa La Calle: Pasado, Presente y Futuro (2009), and Los Diamantes Negros (2014). Some of the bands notable singles include No Me Compares (2004), Te Hago El Amor (2003), Esa Nena (2003), Boom Boom (2008), and several others.
