The Ries Brothers Information
The Ries Brothers is an American musical duo. The current lineup of the group consists of Kevin Ries and Charlie Ries. The Beatles heavily influenced Charlie Rie's interest in music. Charlie and his family moved from Chicago to Tampa to pursue Charlie's lifelong dream of making it as a professional baseball player.
Charlie's curiosity about a poster for the concert prompted his father to purchase a CD of the Beatles' Love album when Charlie was only nine years old. The CD inspired him and ignited his passion for music. This inspired him, and he eventually learned to play the piano and drums and sing simultaneously. Ray Manzarek of The Doors served as an inspiration for this method of self-education.
Jack Johnson, John Mayer, and The Black Keys are a few more artists who have had an impression on Charlie. They have a Rolling Stones guitar, an Aerosmith drumhead, a Paul McCartney guitar, and concert tags from their tours with Chicago and Daughtry, all proudly displayed in their homes.
The band plays an eclectic mix of rock styles, including pop, jazz, blues, classic, and alternative. They have put out a Live Concert DVD in addition to their three EPs. The View From The Outside, their debut studio album, was released on November 10, 2017, and was produced by Ted Bowne of Passafire.
