The Original Wailers Information
In 2008, Al Anderson and Junior Marvin came together to establish the reggae ensemble known as The Original Wailers. Both are well known for their time spent playing guitar for Bob Marley and the Wailers and for their time spent as members of The Wailers Band. Marvin officially parted ways with the band in April 2011.
Desi Hyson, a singer and keyboardist, is responsible for writing four songs on the album. On the cover of "Our Day Will Come," backing singer Erica Newell, who once performed with the Melody Makers, can be heard singing.
On April 10, 2012, MRG Recordings issued The Original Wailers' debut extended play (EP) titled Miracle. On December 5, 2012, during the 55th Annual Grammy Awards, the album Miracle was nominated for the award for Best Reggae Album.
