The Cave Singers Information
The Cave Singers are an American band based in Seattle, Washington. The current lineup of the group includes Pete Quirk (vocals, guitar, melodica, and harmonica), Derek Fudesco (bass pedals and guitar), Marty Lund (drums and guitar), and Morgan Henderson (bass and flute). The Cave Singers signed a record deal with Matador Records on June 11, 2007, and have recorded the majority of its initial music with Colin Stewart in Vancouver. Stewart worked as a music engineer who helped the band and assisted the group in producing its first full-length LP.
The Cave Singers released its limited-edition single and its b-side entitled “Seeds Of Night” and “After The First Baptism” on August 2, 2007. The first LP of the band named “Invitation Songs” was released on September 25, 2007. On February 25, 2008, The Cave Singers released their second single “Dancing On Our Graves.”
The Cave Singers’ second album “Welcome Joy” came out on August 18, 2009. This album featured guest appearances from Ashley Webber and Amber from the band, Lightning Dust. The band signed to Jagjaguwar Records on June 15, 2010, and released their third LP entitled “No Witch” on February 22, 2011. The band has released two more notable albums, including Naomi (2013) and Banshee (2016).
