The Band Perry Information
The Band Perry is a musical group with the current lineup of Neil Perry (mandolin, bouzouki, background vocals), Reid Perry (bass guitar and background vocals), and Kimberly Perry (lead vocals and guitar). In August 2009, they signed with Republic Nashville, and on October 12, 2010, their self-titled debut album was published. This single "If I Die Young" was certified 6x multi-platinum in the United States and reached number one on the Billboard Hot Country Songs and Hot Adult Contemporary Tracks charts.
Pioneer, The Band Perry's second album, was released on April 2, 2013. "Better Dig Two" and "Done" were also number one singles, as were "Don't Let Me Be Lonely" and "Chainsaw," which also charted in the top ten. On May 12, 2016, Billboard reported that the band had signed with Interscope Records.
The Band Perry left Interscope Records/Mercury Nashville in the summer of 2018 to release songs independently. The band published Coordinates, a five-song collection, on September 21 via ARTRAT, their newly created creative company. All five songs were written and produced by the band, with Rick Rubin serving as executive producer.
The Band Perry has done a few supporting tours such as Ten Times Crazier Tour (with Blake Shelton, 2014), Live & Loud Tour (Rascal Flatts, 2013), Virtual Reality Tour (Brad Paisley, 2012), and All the Women I am Tour (Reba McEntire, 2011). The Band Perry also took home the Grammy Award for "Best Country Duo/Group Performance" at the 57th Grammy Awards in 2015. So far, they've been nominated for many accolades.
