South Bend Cubs Information
The South Bend Cubs is an American Minor League Baseball team. The team is currently associated with the High-A Central and the High-A affiliate of the Chicago Cubs. The Cubs play their home games at Four Winds Field at Coveleski Stadium. Originally, the team was known as the South Bend White Sox from 1988 to 1993. At the time, the Cubs were affiliated with the Chicago White Sox. From 1994 to 2014, the team was the South Bend Silver Hawks, affiliated with Arizona Diamondbacks from 1998 to 2014. The team is owned and operated by Andrew T. Berlin.
The Cubs has two mascots at the moment. The one is Swoop the Silverhawk, and the other one is Stu the Cub. During the 2015 season, the team won the 42nd John H. Johnson President’s Award as the minor league’s most complete franchise. The official color theme of the Cubs’ uniform includes white, red, and royal blue. The team has won 7 division titles so far during 1989, 1990, 1993, 2001, 2005, 2008, and 2019. They have also won 4 league titles in 1989, 1993, 2005, and 2019.
