Sounds of Freedom Information
Central Florida Sounds of Freedom (CFSOS) is an American LGBTQ community concert band, Colorguard, and marching band from Orlando, Florida. They are also members of Pride Bands Alliance. CFSOS performs in diverse events across the region. The regular practice for the group consists of gathering once a week during their concert season particularly. The group’s practices are currently held at St. Michaels Episcopal Church, located in Orlando, Florida.
CFSOS has three major concerts every season and a benefit concert providing funds to their charity selected for the year. Other groups such as Color Guard, Marching Band, and Pep band perform and appear almost throughout the year. They present themselves at DCI competition, Soundsport, several parades throughout the years, and “Come Out With Pride.”
CFSOS also serves as a nonprofit organization that specifically promotes LGBTQ. The organization is on a mission to strive for acceptance, equality in such a positive way through its high-quality fellowship and entertainment. They have diverse memberships that unite with common goals. CFSOS also serves and educates through the performing arts. Members who join the organization come from various backgrounds, but all of them have one thing in common: the passion for music to grow.
