Soccerfest Information
A soccerfest is a fun and frantic tournament where players are randomly put on teams and participate in a series of 4v4 games for gold, silver, and bronze medals. Each team will be given the name of a FIFA member nation, such as the United States, Mexico, Brazil, England, or Germany.
Each player will be given a T-shirt with their assigned number on the back and the color used by their team's country on the front.
Before the Bronze Medal and Gold Medal Matches, each team will participate in a 30-minute "get to know each other practice" and play a minimum of three 20-minute 4 v 4 games (without goalies). The most effective way to introduce your young players to North Union United is through the NUU Soccerfest.
The club's U10 or U11 teams welcome some SoccerFest participants to watch their practices. Selected youngsters are invited to participate in the club's U10 and U11 teams for the following seasons based on evaluations of the players during the Soccerfest and these practices.
