Seussical Jr. is known as a musical that is perfect for the entire family. It takes you into the world of Dr. Seuss, full of beloved characters such as Lazy Mayzie, Gertrude McFuzz, The Cat in the Hat, Horton the Elephant, and JoJo.
The Cat in the Hat is a character that guides us into The Jungle of Nool. There we see Horton, who is a kind-hearted elephant and discovers a speck of dust containing Whoville. The elephant meets JoJo, who is known to be a “Who” child.
Horton plans to protect the speck of dust on a nearby clover, but at the same time, he is protecting an abandoned egg that is left to his care by the Lazy Mayzie. So, he tries to convince the other animals in The Jungle for the existence of the Whos. Unfortunately, he is insulted and put on trial for insanity.
Gertrude McFuzz, who is his loyal neighbor, never loses faith in Horton. Eventually, the two fall in love. In short, the masterpiece, Seussical Jr., weaves a story of friendship, endless loyalty, and sudden love. Despite all odds, Horton and Gertrude band together to save the Whos, free Horton, and ultimately restore unity and peace of the Jungle of Nool.
