New Found Glory, an American rock band, is headlining a concert tour called Pop Punk's Not Dead Tour. Rockstar Energy Drink funded the first part of the tour through the United States, and the bands Set Your Goals, The Wonder Years, Man Overboard, and This Time Next Year opened for them.
They wanted to do what bands like Less Than Jake, Blink-182, and Green Day had done for them when they were starting by showcasing emerging talent within the pop-punk movement. Following the release of their seventh studio album, Radiosurgery, on August 1, 2011, it was announced that the band would embark on a tour beginning on October 6 in Santa Cruz, California, and concluding on November 20 in San Diego.
AbsolutePunk held a contest on their website where five lucky winners received a pair of complimentary tickets to the tour plus a meet-and-greet with the band after the show. The band announced they would be bringing their 2012 Kerrang! Tour to the UK during their run on that tour.
