Poolside Information
Poolside is an American "Daytime Disco" band that is from Los Angeles, California. The band was formed in 2010 by Filip Nikolic and Jeffrey Paradise. Filip Nikolic left Poolside in 2017. The current band members are Mattie Safer (The Rapture), Vito Roccoforte (The Rapture), Casey Butler (Pharaohs), and Brijean Murphy (Toro y Moi).
"Do You Believe" is the debut single by Poolside, which was released in 2011. The second single by the duo Filip Nikolic and Jeffrey Paradise was “Take Me Home,” which was released in October 2011. The debut album by the duo was entitled Pacific Standard Time, which was released on July 9, 2012. Heat (June 20, 2017) and Low Season (February 7, 2020) are the other two albums released by the Poolside.
Some of the other hit EPs and singles by Poolside are Do You Believe" / Future Classic, "If We Make It" (2015), "Everything Goes" (2017), “Which Way To Paradise (Remixes)" (2018), "Around The Sun" (featuring Amo Amo) (2020) along with some mixtapes such as; "Seasons Change" (2012), "Stir It Up" (2014), "Night People" (2011), and "Contact High" (2016).
Poolside has also performed at some majorly high-profile festivals, including; Primavera Sound (2013), FYF (2013), and Coachella (2014). The band took a break of four years and returned with the current lineup in 2018. After returning, Poolside performed at hit festivals like Okeechobee (2018), Grandoozy (2018), Outside Lands (2018), and Life Is Beautiful (2018), which was to support the sophomore record Heat (2017).
Poolside is also famous for creating remixes like Tycho; "Horizon (Poolside Remix)" (2018), Miami Horror; "Leila (Poolside Remix)" (2017), and the list goes on.
