PNC Championship Information
The PNC Championship Golf is a yearly tour game with two-person teams. The teams usually comprise a tour professional and their son or father. The Willie Park trophy, named after the late British Open winners Willie Park Sr. and Jr., is up for grabs in this two-day, 36-hole competition.
Aside from a non-tournament family member, all professional players competing in the event have won major championships or the Players Championship.
Before Bob and David Charles won the Park Trophy in 1998, Raymond Floyd and his son, Raymond Floyd Jr., won the first three Father/Son Challenges.
When he and his father, Mike, won the event in 2020, Justin Thomas made history as the first tour professional to do so. In 2005, Fuzzy Zoeller made history by competing alongside his daughter as the first professional golfer to do so.
