P-A Methot Information
P-A Methot is a Canadian storyteller who is known as irresistibly hilarious and endearing. He sold more than 300,000 tickets for his very first one-man show called “Bigger than Life.” The one-man show helped him a lot in gathering such a massive following. He is popular amongst his fans due to his unique style of comedy, such as improvisation. He has been touring Quebec since winter 2019 for his second one-man show entitled “Faire le beau.” The show immediately charmed the public and the critics.
P-A Methot started his professional career in the early 2000s. He performed in comedy evenings and private events. P-A Methot quickly got enough attention and started to perform in the biggest galas and festivals including the Grand Rire Festival in Quebec, and Just for Laughs festival. He won the Nez d’or Revelation in 2007 at the Festival Grand Rire de Quebec. He was also named in the Discovery category at the Olivier Gala in the years 2010 and 2013.
P-A Method has occasionally performed the first part of the show by Jean-Michel Anctil entitled “Tel Quel.” He participated in the Avenir-Lac Megantic Event at the Bell Center on August 13, 2013. He is known as one of the most favorite artists in Quebec, and the number of his fans is increasing every day.
