Oliver Koletzki Information
Oliver Koletzki (October 5, 1974) is a German house music and dance producer and DJ. He was born in Braunschweig. Koletzki's song "Der Mückenschwarm" (which translates to "the mosquito swarm"), released on the Cocoon Recordings label, catapulted him to prominence on a global scale. His song was played by many DJs, who helped propel Koletzki to the top of the rankings. Remixes and cover versions of "Der Mückenschwarm" by acts like Pig & Dan and Dominik Eulberg led to international bookings and additional releases, most notably on Martin Eyerer's Kling Klong.
It was in September of 2005 that Koletzki launched his own company, which he named Stil vor Talent (Talent before Style). From 2007's Get Wasted to 2009's Großstadtmärchen, 2010's Lovestoned (a collaboration with Fran), 2012's Großstadtmärchen 2, and 2014's I Am OK, he has published a total of six studio albums. Readers of Groove Magazine voted Koletzki the year's Best Rookie, and those of Groove and Raveline named "Der Mückenschwarm" 2005's Track of the Year.
